Before you come
Do I need to know how to cook?
No. Lalla Amira cooking classes are open to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced cooks. The chef adapts every step to each participant.
What should I bring?
Nothing. Aprons, utensils and ingredients are provided. Just wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts: we welcome you with a glass of mint tea.
Can I bring children?
Let us know when booking or send us a message: we will tell you whether the class and time slot suit their age.
Do you cater for allergies and diets?
Yes. Tell us about allergies or diets (vegetarian, gluten-free…) when booking: we adapt the recipe whenever possible, or let you know in advance.
Cooking classes
How much does a cooking class cost?
From 600 to 700 MAD per person depending on the class. The price includes ingredients, equipment, tasting and the recipe booklet.
How many people per class?
Classes are held in small groups of up to 10 people. Remaining spots are shown in real time when you book.
Do we eat what we cook?
Yes. Every class ends at the table: we enjoy the dishes together, with bread and mint tea.
Which languages are classes taught in?
Classes are taught in French and English. Mention your language in the message when booking.
The restaurant
What are the prices at Lalla Amira?
Starters from 40 to 90 MAD, mains (tagines, couscous, seffa, pil pil prawns) from 70 to 120 MAD and desserts from 45 to 80 MAD.
Are there vegetarian dishes?
Yes: Moroccan salad, selection of salads, vegetable cigars, vegetable samosas, vegetarian tagine and vegetarian couscous, plus all desserts.
Should I book a table?
It is recommended, especially in the evening. You can book online for up to 8 people, with instant confirmation.

What are the opening hours?
The café is open every day from 9 am to 11 pm. Lunch is served from 12 to 3 pm and dinner from 7 to 10:30 pm. Cooking classes run all day, by reservation.

Can we book a private class for a group or company?
Yes. Lalla Amira hosts private classes and group meals for travel agencies, team buildings, birthdays and seminars. See the Agencies & groups page.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, a gift card valid for all classes, sent by email or handed over on site. Ask for one on the Contact page.
